Well as
previously mentioned, you eat what would have been available back then. So
meats that come from grass fed pasture animals,
fish , vegetables, eggs, roots,
fruit, fungi and nuts. It also prohibits things like potatoes, refined salts,
grains, legumes , processed oils and refined sugars.

Probably the
truth is somewhere in the middle. We look around and see that people and living
unhealthy lives and on both accounts, we try and find a solution. After all our
body is nothing more than a very delicate balance of chemicals, and what we put
it in will ultimately affect our health. So is the Paleo diet working ? Of
course it is. Even if you are a cynic, and you do not believe in its
effectiveness, just think about this: It can’t hurt. Genetically adapted to it
or not, our bodies simply seem to agree with the paleo diet. But be careful not
to fall into extremes. It is ok to indulge in some easy paleo recipes,paleobreakfast recipes and paleo dessert recipes after which to take a break and
enjoy something else entirely. Variety is the spice of life and confining
yourself to only one type of diet seems wasteful. So as far as effectiveness
goes, the paleo diet often shows positive results and it ahs some science to
back it up.
